Penyakit corona virus (COVID-19) adalah penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh virus jenis baru yang belum pernah teridentifikasi pada manusia. Penularan yang mudah membuat cepatnya jumlah pasien positif bertambah. wabah virus Corona di seluruh Indonesia termasuk Bali dimana angka positif corona virus disease (Covid- 19) di wilayah Provinsi terus meningkat. . PMI Provinsi Bali juga masuk dalam Tim Satgas Covid-19 Provinsi Bali dan mendapatkan mandat sebagai koordinator pada bagian pencegahan, sosialisasi dan edukasi.
Seperti pada hari ini sabtu, 15 agustus 2020 pada pukul 07.30 – 10.00 wita diadakanya kegiatan Spraying, distribusi Paket PHBS sebanyak (167 yang di bagi menjadi 2 lokasi yaitu 100pcs di pelabuhan Tribuana dan 67pcs di Pelabuhan Banjar Bias) pemberian bantuan dan melakukan bersih-bersih sampah plastik . Adapun tim relawan yang bergabung dalam kegiatan ini terdiri dari unsur satgas Provinsi bali, PMI Kabupaten Klungkung, Pacalang Bali, Orari, , Rapi, Sai Rescue, Bali Rescue, Senkom Mitra Polri, ACT, DSM, Alfateam, Yayasan IDEP, Relindo, CNPS, PYP Group, Bali MX. Kegiatan Ini Di hadiri langsung Oleh istri Gubernur Bali yaitu Ibu Ni Putu Putri Suastini dan Bapak Bupati Klungkung I Nyoman Suwirta.
Kegiatan ini di lakukan di Pelabuhan Tribuana Desa Kusamba Kecamatan Dawan Kabupaten Klungkung. Pembagian paket PHBS dan pemberian bantuan di serahkan kepada 7 orang perwakilan penerima bantuan terdiri dari 1 orang kadus, 2 orang bendesa, 2 tukang sorog, 2 tukang kajang, 1 pecalang. Di damping Ketua-ketua Relawan, bupati klungkung dan kasatpolPP.
Setelah itu di berikan pengarahan oleh Ibu Gubernur Bali sebelum melakukan kegiatan Bersih-Bersih sampah plastik, fogging , dan spraying desinfektan di sekitar pelabuhan Tribuana dan pelabuhan Banjar Bias. Setelah itu diadakannya foto bersama.
